Welcome to Portland’s waterfront at Chandler’s Wharf.
Relax into your Maine lifestyle.
Day 1: Greet the morning with a steaming cup of locally roasted coffee on your balcony over-looking the active harbor. Then, pack your L. L. Bean boat totes and greet your friends who have just been let in through the gate by Andrew. Walk out the door to your slip for a tour of the inner harbor and the Casco Bay Islands beyond. Drop anchor and soak up the sun while you enjoy your fresh Maine lobster picnic. Slowly cruise home to your gourmet kitchen for a light dinner and toast an amazing day.
Day 2: The smell of the salty air wafts in the window with just a touch of fog. Turn on the gas fireplace to whisk it away. As the sky clears, take a stroll on the cobbled streets of the Old Port and get some free dog treats for your furry canine friend at Fetch. She is even allowed into many of the upscale boutiques. Enjoy lunch at an outdoor café, farm fresh to your table. After a day of shopping and site seeing, your balcony again awaits as you sip your wine and take in the sun set over the Portland skyline and the Casco Bay Bridge. Un-pack your locally sourced food from Rosemont Market and fire up the BBQ.
Day 3: Grab your running shoes and your furry friend and hit the Portland Trails to the Eastern Promenade. You arrive just as the sun rises over Peak’s Island and Fort Gorges. A few good stick tosses and some scampering with the other four legged friends makes for a great doggy adventure! When you return home, a few emails and work calls are a must from your loft office. The summer days are long and there is still time to plan for tomorrow. It looks like a good day for a kayak paddle in the harbor and taking some photographs of the Portland cityscape. But not before an early morning visit to the Farmer’s Market. An invite to your friends to gather and explore the local cuisine in the evening is a must.
Day 4: Repeat Days 1, 2 & 3 and don’t forget to hit the beach!
Only two condo developments are actually on the water in the City of Portland. Chandler’s Wharf is the ultimate waterfront experience. Private and gated for security and maintained by an excellent management company, the condominiums at Chandler’s are surrounded by private boat slips and the working harbor. This sun filled town home has many custom upgrades and a contemporary flair. The list of amenities is long and includes a brand new central heat & air system and cherry floors (underlayed with cork for sound proofing) which accentuate the hand crafted open stair way. A gourmet kitchen designed by Old Port Specialty Tile Co. boasts Rocky mountain granite counters and a custom tile back splash. New appliances include a Viking Range. The open living and dining room area center around a gas fireplace and lead to the balcony overlooking the boat slips and the harbor below. The master bedroom is complete with a marble bath and cathedral ceiling. The 2nd bedroom also has its own bath and cathedral ceiling. The 3rd floor loft, with new skylights, is perfect for a home office or studio. Dogs are welcome too! Come live the dream. Multiple flights per day to Boston and NY from the Portland JetPort, only 15 minutes from Chandlers.
